Does the SIM card/eSIM itself provide a mobile number?
Our product descriptions detail all product features; please read them carefully. Some products that come with a free mobile number only support local calls and cannot make international calls.
Can the phone number included with the product be used to register an account?
Can the phone number included with the product be used to register an account?
The SIM cards/eSIM products we sell will be reused by the telecom operators after the number is used up! Just like in Taiwan, when you give up your number, the telecom operator will reclaim the number and transfer it to the next user. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the number will be able to successfully register an account for a local app.
Since we don't primarily sell mobile phone numbers, we cannot offer refunds if you encounter registration problems. If your main purpose is to register an account, we recommend that you tell your needs when you go to your local telecom store to apply for a number.
What is a native SIM card?
What is a native SIM card?
Native SIM cards are SIM cards directly provided by local telecommunications operators (such as China Mobile, NTT Docomo in Japan, and AT&T in the United States). Compared with roaming or international SIM cards, their operation and service are entirely based on the local network of the region, so the reception is relatively stable and they have network priority.
What is the Fair Use Principle (FUP)?
What is the Fair Use Principle (FUP)?
In other countries, "unlimited data" internet is called "eat to your heart's content," while in Taiwan it's called "eat to your heart's content." However, the meaning of "unlimited data" internet abroad differs from that in Taiwan; overseas telecom operators are less likely to offer unlimited data plans like they do in Taiwan.
Because network bandwidth is a limited resource, it is not unlimited.
Therefore, the telecommunications company's Fair Usage Policy is designed to ensure that all users can use network services fairly and reasonably, and to prevent excessive use by a few from affecting others.
If a user outputs a large amount of data in a short period of time, such as by sharing hotspots or live streaming, it is likely to be identified as abnormal usage and their network speed will be reduced or their network will be disconnected to protect network stability and prevent resource abuse.
What should I do if I can't access the internet while abroad?

Can it be used with a dual-SIM phone?
Can it be used with a dual-SIM phone?
With a dual-SIM phone, you can try using both SIM cards simultaneously. However, if the two cards interfere with each other's signal, you'll need to put the network card in SIM slot 1 and leave SIM slot 2 empty. In most dual-SIM phones, when using two cards simultaneously, one of the cards will drop to a 2G signal. Since many telecom companies no longer provide 2G service, inserting a card in this slot will render the phone unusable.
We've also encountered situations where using two SIM cards simultaneously only results in a maximum connection speed of 3G. To avoid impacting network quality, in such cases, we recommend placing the network card in SIM slot 1 and leaving SIM slot 2 empty . If using both SIM slots simultaneously doesn't affect network reception, then you can use both slots at the same time.

They eventually had to switch them back to their mobile phones to get the network working.
If you need our assistance in checking the settings, you'll need to put the network card into your mobile device before we can help you.
